Cipher clue I

This is a Columnar Transposition cipher. There are three anagrams at the top of the column. If you answer the riddle correctly, and unscramble the correct anagram, the columns below the line will also match up to reveal the secret message. Cutting up the columns might be helpful in solving this cipher.
