Terrible things happen every day, all over the world, but certain places attract the worst. Some towns or villages with sinister histories have a particular air to them, like a negative energy that never really goes away.
Little Witchell is one such village. Tucked away in the North Yorkshire Moors, it has a close history with violence and menace. Imagine if you moved there, expecting your new home to be quiet and peaceful, completely unaware of its past.
A case file of evidence has been collected in a bid to discover the truth, including CCTV footage, text messages, police interviews, witness statements, online forums, news stories, and much more.
Solve the case by yourself if you’re up for a challenge or gather a group of your friends and investigate the murder together. It would be a fun date night idea for any budding detectives out there.
This is an immersive story experience; it tests your problem solving skills, memory, reading comprehension, deduction - all things necessary to be a true detective.
Suitable for ages 14+ due to the nature of the story, but please use your own discretion.
Gameplay would take around 1.5 - 2 hours, depending on your reading speed.
We recommend between 1-6 players to solve this case.
The case file includes 30+ documents, with online links to further information, and puzzles to solve in order to reveal the truth. If you get stuck, clues are available to help you.
